Security, crisis management and system integration

Since 1991, T-SOFT a.s. has been a company focusing mainly on the area of systems employed in crisis and emergency situations, security and crisis management.

The core of the Company consists of people who have long been cooperating on the development of extensive software solutions. At present we employ over 80 employees of various specialisations and vast experience in the areas of crisis management, security and system integration. Our most valuable part of know-how and experience is our ability to develop and implement special system of the nationwide scope of the highest quality within short deadlines.

Corporate Data Security

Other services involve system solution of the security of corporate data and processes and integrated solutions of crisis management support. T-SOFT a.s. carried out a number of important projects in the area of ICT security – enhancement of security, authentication of users when logging into computers and applications, physical integration, personal and IT security, enhancement of users’ security, protection of electronic signature and sensitive information, for example for the following customers:

• Czech National Bank,
• Czech POINT,
• Czech Post,
• State Treasury, etc.

T-SOFT a.s. provides solutions of procedural interoperability mainly using various military and civil standards.

Security for CZ

We have been participating in a research project funded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic aiming to verify a software spreading model of aerosols as potential carriers of toxic, radioactive or biological information, a tool enabling to assess potential impacts of a terrorist attack, unlike most software tools focusing on the assessment of emergency impacts of dangerous chemical substances.

MEDSI - Improving Risk Management

Beside Czech projects, T-SOFT participates in international research projects partly funded by the European Union and carried out in cooperation of European universities, research and development centres and innovative companies. A typical example is the MEDSI project, conducted as a part of the 6th framework program of IST (Information Society Technologies) in the area of Improving Risk Management. The target of the MEDSI project is to develop an integrated complex of web services and tools enhancing the capabilities of emergency planning and management in private as well as governmental organizations. The main purpose of the web complex is the elimination of threats, security of critical infrastructures, and support in emergencies. The project was brought to a successful close in 2006 followed by pilot testing. Its extension is being discussed at the moment.

Within our projects we closely cooperate with our partners from 9 European countries; we have also had partners in the USA for many years. We take an active part in the crisis management and modelling trainings in NATO School in German Oberammergau. Our participation in the trainings in NATO School brings benefits to both parties. Not only are we the only Czech company enabled to use this way to present Czech solutions within NATO, but also it verifies acceptability of such solutions within NATO.

Crisis Management

With an aim to support and contribute to the development of this branch, T-SOFT a.s. has regularly held an international conference called The Present and Future of Crisis Management since 1997. It is regularly attended by more that 300 specialists from all over the world. At the conference, T-SOFT a.s. repeatedly introduces new findings in the area of comprehensive support to crisis management and security.
